Trek to the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka

Bambarakanda waterfall marks its name as the highest in Sri Lanka with a height of 263 m. It has got the 299th place in the list of the highest waterfalls in the whole world. The view from the top of the water fall will give you a beautiful panorama of this area and make you speechless.

This waterfall is situated in Kalupahana in the Badulla District. It is just 5 km away from the A4 Highway. Kuda Oya is the main water resource to the fall. The Bambarakanda is hidden inside a forest of pine trees.

Bambarakanda fall pours down its whitish cascades of water making colorful rainbows in the drops of water.
